Lemon Buttermilk Sorbet

Lemon Buttermilk Sorbet

Lemon buttermilk sorbet?  Yes please!  The first time I tasted this, I was hooked!  It’s not too sweet, not too tart…just right and very refreshing.  Try it with a topping of fresh, sweetened strawberries or blueberries.

Ingredients
  –  2 c. sugar
  –  1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  –  2 t. grated lemon zest
  –  4 c. buttermilk

Instructions

Mix ingredients, stir well and let chill for 4 hours.  Stir well again and place in ice cream freezer. ENJOY!
