  1. Good information. What is #3? Is there a way to preserve asparagus for later consumption? I haven’t found anything online.

    • Fresh asparagus is really best eaten in season. You could can them or even pickle (the pickling would help to keep a little more crispness to it). Thanks for reading our article!

  2. Do you get any heirloom roots in, in the spring? I would like to a variety that is not GMO and orgsnic.

    • Our asparagus have not come in yet. We anticipate getting Martha Washington (a very old variety) and Jersey Knight
